The grand final was contested between Coral and Kerry and it was a very close competition with Coral on 429 defeating Kerry on 416 to become our April Legend of The Month Champion.

Another successful turn out for the Adult Legend Of The Month
Males: 1st Neil McFarlane - 894; 2nd Mychael Lewis – 890; 3rd Joe Kolopelynk - 842
Delphine was unable to participate in the Grand Final which is contested between the highest placed female and highest placed male, so Melanie took up the challenge for the female bowlers in Cairns.
While Melanie put up a good fight it was not enough to beat the "in form" Neil McFarlane who bowled supurbly all day. The eventual scores being Melanie 381 to Neil 386.

We also had our first Junior Legend of the Month tournament and it was a great success!

3rd vs 2nd: Kevin Gregory 174 lost to Daniel De Blasio 178 - A very exciting match coming down to the tenth frame to decide the winner.

It is fantastic to see these events increasing in numbers. A very big thank you to all the adults and juniors who participated. Lets spread the word so that next month it is even bigger and better.
Congratulations to the Highest Place Male (Colin Manttan - 866) and Female (Jacqui DellaBosca - 858) in our Legend Of The Month Tournament held recently at Go Bowling Cairns.
It was a close contest to see who who make the final top two with Lisa Edwards just missing out by one behind behind Jacqui with a score of 858.
After a two game play off between Jacqui and Colin, Colin ended up victorious by 14 pins and is our First True Legend Of The Month.
For his efforts he now receives automatic entry into the Legend Of The Year Grand Final, together with a Bowler of The Month Shirt and Eight (8) Free Practise Games - but hey, we don't really thinks he needs the practise games with the fine form he has been showing lately.
We don't know why these ladies are laughing - - they were lined up to do the CAN CAN because they bowled under 100 during league competition recently!
